It is wholly owned by Heartland Building Society, which comprises the former businesses of MARAC, CBS Canterbury, Southern Cross Building Society and PGG Wrightson Finance. Heartland Building Society acquired PGG Wrightson Finance Limited on or about 31 August 2011. PGG Wrightson Finance operates as a division of Heartland Building Society.
PGG Wrightson Finance provides farmers throughout the country with a full range of finance products and rural banking* services, delivered through a network of rural finance managers with specialised knowledge of their district and clients.
Investment options are available to the public, providing competitive rates of interest as well as portfolio diversification benefits through exposure to one of New Zealand’s core industries.
PGG Wrightson Finance Deposits are issued by Heartland Building Society which comprises the former businesses of MARAC, CBS Canterbury, Southern Cross Building Society and PGG Wrightson Finance. Heartland Building Society acquired PGG Wrightson Finance Limited on or about 31 August 2011. PGG Wrightson Finance Limited guarantees all deposits issued by Heartland Building Society. The guarantee is unlimited and unsecured.
